Hello and welcome! I'm Charlotte, a qualified therapist, registered and based in the UK. I offer one to one online and telephone therapy to adults aged 18+. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
I always recommend that we have a free introductory call to discuss your requirements before booking a session. Sessions are 50 minutes and cost £50.
I understand that everyone is individual and there is no 'one size fits all' in therapy, so I tailor my work to suit each person, helping them to find their own way towards a happier and more fulfilling life. I offer a safe, confidential, non-judgmental space and will work at a pace to suit you.
Life throws us some low balls doesn't it? Sometimes we need a bit of support through some of them - I've been there myself.
I have personal experience of a variety of life challenges, including bereavement, menopause, anxiety and depression, but I respect the fact that your lived experiences will be personal to you.
I am married, a step-mum and now a grandmother. I am an avid animal lover as well.
In addition to my counselling practice, I also work as an Advocate for people with limited mental capacity, which involves working with a variety of different needs, physically and psychologically.
Prior to becoming a counsellor I spent 16 years working with the police services of England, Wales, Scotland and NI. I assisted with some work on mental health in the service, with a welfare helpline and other mental health support. I have always had an active interest in mental health, which lead to me becoming a counsellor.

Taking the first step towards a happier life by seeking therapy can be a bit worrying, especially if you haven’t had therapy before. If you feel you would like to have a short telephone conversation to see if we could work together, please leave me a message and I will call you back at a time to suit you. I offer short-term and long-term therapy.
If you feel you need urgent help, please see the Helplines/Crisis Contacts section on this site.
